Some towers scrape the sky. This one haunts it. Haunted-House Stacker is a one-tap stacking game: a creaky crane swings each new haunted-house storey back and forth above your tower, and a single tap drops it. Where it lands is everything — drop it flush and the floor keeps its full width; let it hang over the edge and the overhang is trimmed clean off, tumbling into the graveyard below.

That trimming is the game's delicious cruelty. Every sloppy drop makes the next floor narrower, every narrow floor makes the next drop harder, and the crane only speeds up as the tower climbs. The rescue is the perfect drop: land within a few pixels of flush and nothing is trimmed, your combo catches fire, and the bonus points pour in — 10 plus 5 for every link in the combo chain. Masters of the game don't stack wide towers; they stack perfect ones.

Each storey is its own little haunted room, with amber windows lit in the dark and the odd bat in residence, piled on a graveyard hill under a crescent moon. It's a game of millimetres and nerve that takes five seconds to learn and a very long time to put down.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Haunted-House Stacker?

A haunted-house storey slides back and forth on a crane at the top of the screen. Tap anywhere to drop it straight down onto the tower. Whatever hangs over the edge is trimmed off, so each floor can get narrower — land them as flush as you can.

What is a perfect drop in Haunted-House Stacker?

If a storey lands within a few pixels of perfectly flush with the floor below, it counts as a PERFECT: nothing is trimmed, and your combo rises. Perfect drops pay 10 points plus 5 per combo level, so a long perfect streak is the fastest way to a high score. Scoring 150 points earns one star, 350 earns two, and 600 earns three.

What happens if you miss the tower in Haunted-House Stacker?

A partial miss just trims the overhanging part away and the game continues with a narrower floor. But if the falling storey misses the tower completely, it crashes to the ground and the run is over.

Is Haunted-House Stacker free to play?

Yes — Haunted-House Stacker is completely free and plays instantly in your web browser, on phone or desktop. There are no downloads, no accounts and nothing to install.
